Promoting Organic & Regenerative Agriculture: Over 60% of our sourced coffee is from farms that are either certified organic or in transition. We provide financial incentives and technical training, in partnership with local agronomists, to help farmers move away from synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.
Protecting the Subak Abian System: We are passionate advocates for the UNESCO-recognized Subak Abian, a traditional cooperative water management system. We contribute a portion of our revenue to a community fund that helps maintain the irrigation canals and supports the religious and cultural ceremonies that are integral to this system.
Water Conservation in Processing: We have co-invested with two of our partner cooperatives in Kintamani to install eco-pulpers. These machines reduce water consumption during the coffee washing process by up to 80% compared to traditional methods, protecting local watersheds.
Biodiversity & Reforestation: We exclusively source shade-grown coffee, which provides vital habitat for native birds and insects. For every container of coffee we export, we donate to and participate in local reforestation initiatives in the Mount Batur caldera, planting native trees like Erythrina, Albizia, and citrus to enhance the agroforestry system.

Investment in Local Infrastructure: Through our community fund, we have financed the construction of raised drying beds in the village of Munduk and provided funding for a new, shared cupping lab in Tampaksiring, empowering farmers to better assess their own quality.

Carbon-Neutral Logistics Goal for 2026: We are currently measuring the carbon footprint of our supply chain, from farm to port. Our goal is to achieve carbon-neutral logistics by 2026 through a combination of optimizing shipping routes and investing in certified carbon offset projects, such as the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve project in Kalimantan.
Reducing Single-Use Plastics: We use biodegradable GrainPro bags for shipping our specialty green beans and have eliminated single-use plastics from our office and roastery operations.
